I asked Leo about a lead screw and a lead nut in different ways and his answers were really good 👏 Specifically, I asked him about an application of lead nut that rotates but is linearly fixed in location. Follow up question I asked: what happened to a lead screw in this case? another follow-up question: explain to me about linear leads. Within 2 questions and 5 mins, I got the answers i needed for my work.

Leo was very accurate about the surface roughness of both answers while referring to our specific use cases - something that Google cannot do. Leo was accurate and quantitative about the thickness and homogeneity of both coatings (thickness in each of them in microns). In one of the products I am designing, there is a reservoir that transfers water to a lower reservoir. Since the lower one can move, the connecting pipe needs to be robust yet adaptive. I asked Leo if it was possible to use an accordion-like pipe. It said that it was impossible and provided a relevant professional source to support this, along with an alternative I hadn't considered—piston. The entire process took just a few minutes.
