In the depths of my memory lies an indelible moment — the day I constructed my very first spaceship. At the tender age of four, I embarked on an extraordinary journey that continues to resonate within me, igniting a flame of inspiration that refuses to wane. As the walls of the daycare enclosed me, I found myself surrounded by humble wooden cubes, yet within their unassuming form lay the catalyst for my imagination to soar. With each passing moment, I witnessed the moon swelling in size, while the earth diminished, invoking a profound sense of wonder and exhilaration. In that transformative instance, a torrent of joy coursed through my being, etching goosebumps upon my skin — a visceral reminder of the boundless potential and endless possibilities that await those who dare to dream.
That extraordinary experience ignited a lifelong passion within me, propelling me toward the realm of Mechanical Engineering at the prestigious Technion, often referred to as Israel’s MIT. For six remarkable years, I toiled day and night, pursuing my Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. degrees. These were the defining moments of my life — challenging, rewarding, and brimming with meaning. I could still feel those goosebumps when I contributed to the design of life-saving mechanical systems, protecting nuclear power plants from seismic threats.
However, my transition to the industry, teeming with dreams of revolutionizing humanity and spearheading groundbreaking technologies, brought about an unexpected revelation. Traditional design methodologies, plagued by monotonous tasks like copying from previous designs, manually selecting off-the-shelf parts, and endless drawings, stifled my creativity. I watched in dismay as the wings of innovation seemed to desert me, gradually inching away with each passing day. Even sharing my ideas with peers became an exercise in frustration. Collaborating with dozens, sometimes hundreds of colleagues on a single project, I yearned for a simpler means of expression — a way to convey my thoughts through text or sketches. Alas, CAD software became my only refuge, forcing me to spend countless hours crafting intricate 3D models, bound by archaic tools that hadn’t changed since my college days in 2010. Sometimes, it took an entire week to share just one idea with my peers.

But it was the archaic nature of drawings that irked me most — the primitive, outdated method of communicating ideas and expectations. It felt like a relic from ancient times, often failing to capture the essence of my vision.
I longed for a solution that could streamline and automate the mundane aspects of design, accounting for a staggering 75% of the entire process. Each day, as I faced an empty SolidWorks file, I yearned for an AI agent capable of comprehending my ideas with a mere utterance, transforming them into tangible reality. While AI progressed at an astonishing pace, the world of mechanical product design remained largely untouched, save for a few tools utilizing generative AI for weight reduction. Frustration lingered, woven into the fabric of almost every design process, as progress faltered.
Then came the Generative AI boom — an epoch that revolutionized our lives, both personally and professionally.
